Pastor Dr. Lorenzo Bonds worked at Inland Steel for 31 years following his service in the US Army. Dr. Bonds gave his life to the Lord in 1969 during a street meeting held by Elder Charlie Williamson and joined him at Church of Deliverance in Christ. Dr. Bonds was ordained pastor by Elder Williamson in December 1971. As pastor, Dr. Lorenzo Bonds primary focus was outreach. He hosted a radio program and hospital ministry at Methodist Hospital Northwest for 15 years. He enjoyed street services, soul-winning campaigns, and tent ministries. Dr. Bonds was also a member and senior advisor for International Mission Outreach Network and traveled around the world teaching the gospel. He entered eternity on February 17, 2021 and we miss him dearly.
